Dharma Rose – DO, MS, ABIHM

dharmaRose2Dr. Dharma Rose trained as a pharmacist, pharmacologist and toxicologist, and a doctor of osteopathic medicine.  In 2013, after having practiced for sixteen years as an osteopathic physician in Indiana, she semi-retired from her medical work in Indiana and moved to Oregon.  She continues to share her knowledge and training in Oregon through offering health advocacy and diaphragmatic attunementTM at Rogue Health, LLC on a part-time basis.

Health Advocacy:  Questions are addressed with educational information and more questions, to support:

Holistic understanding of how and why physical and mental issues manifest;

Learning how to embrace and incorporate change;

Non-judgmental self examination;

Healthy caring for one’s self and how to direct one’s medical care with greater awareness and better understanding for health and medical practitioners;

Individuals creating dietary and exercise habits that fit with their life styles.

Diaphragmatic AttunementTM:   is not a massage therapy or medical modality.  It involves light touch around the fascial divisions of the body, which is continued until their motion “attunes” or harmonizes to that of the cranium and sacrum.  Time is allowed during the session to sense the motion.  No force or intentional direction is applied.

Dharma Rose is certified by the Cranial Academy in Indianapolis and the American Board of Holistic Integrative Medicine.  Her memberships also include the American Osteopathic Association, the American Academy of Osteopathy, the American Holistic Medical Association, and the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine.  She is a licensed osteopathic medical doctor in Indiana, but holds no licenses in Oregon.  Hence, she does not offer prevention, diagnosis or treatment of disease, illness or injury.
